Unnkkallezik is a rather isolated small group of mountainous islands, far away from any main continent. The main island is covered in a large tropical rainforest. The climate is warm and rainy. Sketch: imgur.com/a/QefqO5w

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

The vast majority of the nation's people reside in the main cites by the coast of the main island, in areas which are less mountainous, although there are a handful of small villages in the rainforest and on other islands. The capital, Montedhè ax nn Pek Utmuul, is the second-largest and most developed city. It is home to most upper class citizens and major government officials. Kallakipèpèn is Unnkkallezik's largest city and houses mainly middle and lower class people.

The country is relatively poor due to being isolated for much of its history, and therefore lacks much modern infrastructure outside of its two main cities. The nation's profits mainly come from exports such as peppercorn and lumber.

Most settlements are on the coast of the main island, however there are some small villages in the rainforest, and a city on the second largest island.

The mapping style is inspired by European and southeast Asian mapping. The roads are curvy and often run alongside rivers, lakes, coastlines, or in between mountains. The rural roads are usually made of dirt, and the urban roads are usually made of paving stones. The buildings are small and packed together due to limited space suitable for building. The typical house is a small wooden shack. A handful of richer and more modern neighborhoods have more USA styled roads.

There is a small motorway system that spans from the capital to the largest city. There is a section of it under construction that will span around the entire island.

A brief description of the intended culture and language

The language is the conlang Xuukalluug, which will be called Unnkkalluug to fit with the country's name. The country's culture revolves around its religion, the mountains, and the rainforest.

The population of the islands has been around for thousands of years, and has mostly stayed confined to their native lands. They never really went far from their homes, as they did not like exploring because staying safe and near civilization was promoted by their religion. Their only international relation for a long time was with Etk Wqenesn, due to them being their closest neighbor.

In the 1400s, Unnkkallezik's religion split into two sub-religions; Ruspùs Tssalism and Oyat Tssalism, with different beliefs that eventually led to a civil war, which killed around 20% of the islands' population after 4 years. At the start of the war, the followers of Oyat Tssalism established a fort, Pèpèn ax nn Pek Utmuul that would provide food and shelter to their soldiers and villagers. Eventually, the followers of Oyat Tssalism won the war and it became the dominant religion of the nation afterwards. When they won, Pèpèn ax nn Pek Utmuul became the new capital, and it was renamed Montedhè ax nn Pek Utmuul.

Around the mid to late 1700s, Unnkkallezik was discovered by explorers from Archanta, and became a trading partner of many countries from there.

Starting in the 1950s, Unnkkallezik started taking inspiration from Archanta's much more developed infrastructure, mainly from the Federal States. The first asphalt roads, apartment buildings, and office buildings were constructed in the country in the following years.

In the 1980s, Unnkkallezik's prospering economy encouraged people to have more children, causing a population explosion.

In the late 1990s and 2000s, when the generation had reached adulthood, the demand for housing and employment skyrocketed, forcing the government to expand cities to suit the demand. The expansion continues to this day, and the nation is rapidly modernizing.

This is the country's flag: https://imgur.com/a/kVb0uEy

The green stripe represents the forest, the white stripe represents the beaches, and the blue stripe represents the ocean. The orange star represents their god.

Please notify, that Zir0e has not done the boundaries or some other things in Twin Lakes City (first mapping sample) As I have fixed some of the scaling, please take that into account when reviewing this request. Themapper53 (talk) 10:05, 10 August 2024 (UTC)

  • But, I am trying to learn how to use administrative boundaries in the test/demo area, and I think I've basically learned how.

I looked through it, and they are not visible on the normal map. This is because there are no relations. Also, please sign your comments. Themapper53 (talk) 11:07, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
Weird. They do in fact have relations. And some of them show up on the topo map. Zir0e (talk) 17:06, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

> By the way, I would like the existing farmland in the central east coast of the main island to be deleted, as I want to start out with 0 civilization. Zir0e (talk) 20:32, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
