	Physical geography
	An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. It is advised to also create a sketch, you can add a link to this (hosted on imgur or similar)

Topography:

Mountainous in the south, with ranges in the northwest, northeast and central as well. A series of arable river valleys exist in the eastern section of the province, although they are separated by lower hills and ridges.

Climate:

Dfb (warm-summer humid continental) throughout most inhabitable regions of the province. High elevations experience Dfc (subarctic without dry season) climates, while higher elevations will experience ET (tundra) and EF (ice cap) at the tips of the tallest mountains. Dfa (hot-summer humid continental) is present in small parts of northern Anderside region.

Development and land divisions:

The province has historically relied heavily on manufacturing, as well as resource extraction such as agriculture, forestry, fishing, and mining. Consider a "rust belt"-inspired economy, with large decline from mid-20th century until recently, with other sectors slowly gaining ground in recent decades, pushed by lower costs in the province as opposed to elsewhere in Deodeca. Railways are widespread given its industrial past, however infrastructure has been in need of repair for decades and passenger service has declined.

Population is mid-range, in the ballpark of 3-4 million (tentative), and population is concentrated primarily around rivers and arable valleys, as well as other economic centers

The lake is the defining feature of the province, and, as a side effect, the Northland region is somewhat culturally isolated. It's reasonable that a Mackinac/Confederation-esque bridge exists crossing the 9km-ish strait, but that's subject to discussion.

History and language:

History will align with plans for Deodeca's history, with considerable Franquese influence. Native groups will be somewhat prominent in the province, predominantly the Aitun (Innu-equivalent)

Franquese was historically marginalized, but now holds equal status with English in government. Similar to New Brunswick language dynamics. Native representation is slowly gaining.

	Keep in mind that Deodeca is a large collaborative project; as such, coordination, cooperation, and consistent activity are crucial to the project's success.
