General plan of PA (with the highways)

Territory demographics

The state would have 2 million people, with a big majority living within the Fallsbury metro and the rest on the smaller towns and rural areas, I looked at Rhode Island's land occupation of the state comparing it with the population and it seems like a 2 Million population could fit into Passamaqueets with the urban area being larger in proportion to the state.

Economy

Instead of the tipical college based New England economy, most of Passamaqueets' economy would come from large scale machinery manufacturing (Ex: Cars, Trucks...), and chemical industries. Comparing to the real world, it would be simillar to Ohio, but in a much smaller scale.

Land Occupation + mapping style

While having a larger percentage of the state being urban, there would be still more farmland than Rhode Island with less forest coverage on the coastal flats and more cranberry farms. The mapping style would be a bit of a mix of Massachusetts and Long Island and an unique farmland style.

History

This state could possibly have a function in the FSA's independence movement, like how Massachusetts had the first events of the American revolution. English would be obviously used, the state could have gotten a bit more immigrants from Plevia and Valonne, but I think that is a bit irrelevant. I believe the name Passamaqueets comes from a native tribe, but I am not sure.

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful
The {{coord}} template can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - it results in a nice formatted link. Or you can paste in a URL.

I would agree to the terms said before, with no applications being made in an year What3089 (talk) 00:15, 6 October 2024 (UTC)

  • Please clarify - is this in exchange for UL11i, or a second territory request? /wangi (talk) 10:54, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
  • A second territory, last time I checked with Bixelkoven I had enough mapping to do so. What3089
  • Hi! Where it comes to how past infractions might influence this application, I'll leave that to proper admin. But I do have a few notes of my own:
1. Because the Cerulean Isles act as barrier islands, there likely wouldn't be additional barrier islands off the coast of Robertsburgh. Other alterations to the coastline there are welcome.
2. I've noticed that your highways and railways in Passamaqueets had a large amount of nodes where it isn't necessary, like on a straight segment (which I assume is due to the use of spline tool?). I personally consider this to be bad form. Whatever method you're using, I would recommend using shift+Y to remove unnecessary nodes.
3. What do you plan on doing with the Burton remnants?

Hello, I will do some more research on how coastlines work with sediments, but I am fine with removing the barrier islands. As for the Nodes, at the time I had made those ways I didn't really know how to simplify the splinex plugin, but I have learned how to do that now with the settings, thanks for the shortcut. As for the third point, Minimapper would like to adopt the remnants, I don't really think I could fit those anywhere considering Fallsbury would be in a bay in a position very different from Boston and the simillar Burton Bay
