An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. It is advised to also create a sketch, you can add a link to this (hosted on imgur or similar) |
The physical geography of this state will remain generally the same as its existing geography, with a heavily mountainous and forested western region, falling into rolling hills further eastward. The basic outline of major rivers and where the heavily mountainous region has already been mapped. The climate of Wilthamshire is generally temperate, with mild winters and summers.

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style |
Wilthamshire is based upon the Mid-Atlantic region of the USA, as well as some influence from Appalachia. Physically, most of the state is rural and agricultural, with moderate population density. However, the major metropolitan area of the state, being New Annshire and the northern suburbs of Huntington, make up the majority of the state's population and economy. This region has major financial, business, and government sectors due to its proximity to the FSA's capitol. Rutherford is the capitol of the state and along with Milton (may be changed in name later) are smaller regional population centers. Wilthamshire's ethnic groups are mainly descendants of the original Ingerish settlers of the region, as well as immigrant Kalmish, Francquese, and other migrant groups.

History & culture | |
---|---|
A brief description of the intended culture and language |
Wilthamshire was first colonized by Ingerish settlers and has grown since as a state of the FSA. The state has a mix of rural farming culture and its urban culture. In the past, the rural regions of the state dominated, but as urbanization continued, and especially with the major growth of Huntington suburbs, the wealthy and skilled urbanized regions of the state now dominate the state's culture and politics.

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful | |
The {{coord}} template can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - it results in a nice formatted link. Or you can paste in a URL. |
Most of the mapping of Wilthamshire present currently is still the same as my mapping of the state when I owned it a few years ago. My existing mapping of New Annshire is the most detailed part of my mapping, and is almost completely unchanged from when I last owned it (https://opengeofiction.net/#map=15/-37.1476/158.2148&layers=B).
I have also done some mapping in blue territory to refamiliarize myself with JOSM when I first returned to OGF a couple of months ago. Here is a small village I mapped in German style (https://opengeofiction.net/#map=15/14.5008/-113.5732&layers=B)
I also most recent have been doing mapping in the collaborative nation of Lentië (https://opengeofiction.net/#map=13/56.0452/45.2424&layers=B).
