An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. It is advised to also create a sketch, you can add a link to this (hosted on imgur or similar) |
The country's geography is diverse.
The coastal plain extends to a perimeter of 50 to 60 km from the coast and has dense vegetation and reasonably fertile soils. The climate in this area is humid tropical, with year-round rainfall and an average annual temperature of 24 degrees centigrade.
The Coastal Plateau extends from 60 to 220 km from the coast, except for a small breach in the Parangi River's Valley, in regions close to the border with Vodeo, which allows humidification of the interior of the country. The altitudes are between 800 and 1,200 m, with some areas above 1,400 m, the dominant climate is humid subtropical, with average annual temperatures between 17 and 20 degrees Celsius. The soil is naturally not as fertile, but natural fertilizers and manure allow it to grow.
The Central Plateau is a region that covers a large part of the national territory. The soil is the most fertile in the country, the climate is tropical, with a wet season between October or November and April, altitudes vary between 400 and 900 m, with some few areas above 1,000 m.
The Nacira Forests are tropical rainforest in the central-west region of the country, with a climate very similar to that of the coast, plain relief and poorly fertile soil.
The Araceva Mountain Range is the most mountainous region in the country and is on the southern border of the country, with an average width of 70 km on both sides of the border. Average altitudes are above 1,500 m, often above 2,500 m, and the climate is mountain-cold with moderate rainfall throughout the year. A agricultura é muito difícil.

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style |
Ameira is a country with high rates of urbanization (85%) and a reasonably high population density, just over 50 inhab./km². The most densely populated regions are those up to 200 km from the coast, while the southern mountain ranges and Nacira Forest are the least populated.
The country's economy is rapidly developing. For little more than twenty years, the country has been governed by politicians with progressive and developmental ideas, who place emphasis on social programs, infrastructure works, investments in agriculture and technology, and industrialization in less industrialized regions. As a result, Ameira has consolidated itself as a regional power and an emerging economy.
The country's infrastructure is constantly being modernized. There are few ports on the coast, as the coastline is small. The main highways in the country are of good quality and almost all of them are double-lane. There are not many railways, but the government has been carrying out works in this transport sector, as a way to better sell production and reduce transport costs.
The poverty rates in the country are low and the progressive governments invests in social welfare programs and programs that allow needed people to enter in the University. Only about 5% of the population suffers with hunger and food insecurity and the unliteracy rate is below to 1%.
History & culture | |

A brief description of the intended culture and language |
As the country was colonized by Portugal, the official language is Portuguese, but the government recognizes indigenous languages.
The culture is diverse and mixes Portuguese and indigenous elements with some African influence. Popular festivals, such as Carnival, are an indispensable part of national culture.

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful | |
The {{coord}} template can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - it results in a nice formatted link. Or you can paste in a URL. |
I already tried to create a country in the territory TA093, but this idea did not go ahead, because the terrain is too small.
I also have older contributions in collaborative territories.

Discussion for clarification & decision |
Hi Arq,
While this territory application looks quite fitting and (though do note, there's no Portugal in OGF -- the equivalent would be Florescenta), please make some edits in blue territories to build up some activity again; as you've recently had your territory revoked for inactivity, and have made no edits since 8 months ago. After you've built up a bit more of a recent mapping history, please feel free to reopen this application. Taka (talk) 08:50, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
- You might want to consider applying for your own BGxx territory - you can then move mapping on a later successful application. Or one of the AR001b-xx Collab:Lorotoban provinces - which share similarities to what you are looking to map. Thanks/wangi (talk) 09:50, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
