A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style |
The country will be divided into 4 regions (unofficial) 9 States and 1 Federal district. Each state will be further divided into counties (Municipos). Land will be mostly farmland in the Central & in portions of the Western Region. Western Region will also have a thriving tourism industry based on the wild (hunting/trapping, camping, fishing, wilderness survival. Western region will be the least populated (125,000 approx between 3 states). Central & lowland regions will have a higher population, especially with cities surrounding the federal district (capital region). Demographics will vary. Western Region will be dominated by mostly indigenous/mestizo peoples with lowlands having a mixture of population. A majority of the popuatlion in the lowlands will be mixed between either Black & Indigenous or White & indigenous, also with a sizable population of immigrants from all regions. Economically, the country will be mostly developed, comparative to that of some areas of the USA while other areas will be more comparative to that of areas in Mexico or Guatemala. Infrastructure will vary from region to region but the main consistencies between the regions are a federal high way system and the power grid. Wind, water & solar are the main sources of power, though some coal is also used.

A brief description of the intended culture and language |
Prior to colonization, the lands of Collona were dominated by indigenous peoples. The largest nation, which was present on the coastline was the Koyunaj Peoples. Upon arrival, many colonists were met with violence of the Koyunaj peoples, though not everywhere. Small boats of colonists were able to establish a presence on the northern coast of present day Collona. The greeting of friendship as opposed to weapons meant that the populations in those areas were quicker to accept the new people. Koyunaj mythology told of a being that would come to the lands, taking away their way of life and killing their peoples. The response of the invasion prompted many to flee inland. Years of mixing in the population created a variety of peoples depending on the region. The majority language spoken is Spanish, though official languages include Spanish, English and 12 different indigenous languages. Tzataca, the capital city, was also a sacred city to the Koyunaj peoples. Many of the original buildings built post colonization used colonists ships wood as the walls. Mashaña point, near the town of Alexandria, has a major burial ground and legend says that some of the bricks were made from ground up bones of colonists.

To support your request provide links to areas of OGF mapping which showcase your mapping skill. Mapping relevant to the requested theme & geography is especially useful | |
The {{coord}} template can optionally be used to link to the OGF map - it results in a nice formatted link. Or you can paste in a URL. |
I've mapped a few different spots in Tierra Nueva and in the Michisaukee state.

- Hi, Dsilcott. Your patience is appreciated. We have had a changeover in leadership of West Uletha, so there has been a longer delay. Both Bixelkoven and myself will review it soon—your application hasn't been forgotten. We're just trying to get a few crucial things done first as part of the changeover. In the mean time, would you please supply some direct links to your mapping for us to consider? Thank you! — Alessa (talk) 02:21, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
Hey Alessa, thank you for looking to review. I will attempt to post links here in this page. I hope they're what you're looking for. https://opengeofiction.net/#map=13/-37.9057/154.2384&layers=B

I hope these links work and update as i continue to work.
Alternatively, I would consider a small territory in the FSA such as AR120-35, which is near where some of my work has been.
- Hello, Dsilcott. Looking at your application, and the mapping provided, I agree that it would suit the style in the FSA more than in Uletha. On the other hand, I think your mapping is not persuasive enough, and most of it look like a basic early-stage grid. I would highly suggest you practice more in the blue territories before requesting, and trying your hand at detailing and natural mapping. Would you consider continuing mapping in a blue territory, or as an alternative would you like to request a beginner territory? Bixelkoven (talk) 23:37, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thats fine. I'll continue to map in that area and expand out. I don't have as much experience doing the natural scenery so I'll work on that a bit more. Though I'd rather develop my own culture and such, I'm fine with an FSA location. I'm searching for anything in the tropics thats small or medium sized countries. —Unsigned comment by Dsilcott (talk).
