UL13G - Łučija (Łucja)

	Physical geography
	An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. It is advised to also create a sketch, you can add a link to this (hosted on imgur or similar)

Climate:

Łucja is very based on Poland and other Slav countries, so it would be a bit colder than most countries.

In the summer, it would reach about 22-25 °C.

In the winter, the country would be hit with snowfall and heavy wind. The temperatures would hang on about -3 to 1 °C.

Topography:

Łucja would be a fairly plain and flat country, with not very tall mountains in the west.

The plains would sometimes be forested.

The big cities would mostly be near water sources, and the viilages would be swept everywhere.

	Human geography
	A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style

Demographics:

Most of the people would be Slavs, mostly Polish and Slovakian. But other groups would also settle the area, so the main languages used would be Interslavic, Slovakian and Polish.

Economy:

The country would be in the middle of GDP terms: not too rich, but still not crippling poor. So, there would be some big infrastructure investments, but not too many. You might see some highways and airports, but they aren't very grand.

Land Occupation:

The land would mostly be covered in forests, meadows and farmlands.

There would be 2-3 highways connecting the big cities, but they wouldn't be top shelf roads.

Urban areas would be large, with ~10% of the population living there.

Rural areas would take over most of the country.

Infrastructure:

Trains would be in big use, as in around the boom of the steam train the country put almost its entire budget into building tracks.

Highways would be built around 1990-2000. They aren't very grand, as the trains are more popular.

	History & culture
	A brief description of the intended culture and language

In the V century some of the Slav people, at first settling in Velticia, continue south. They settle in the land of future Łučija. They build some towns and settlements. Other Slavs have also moved to the land, and since the people all spoke other languages, the king at that time (Micisław II) had an idea to create a language that all Slavs could speak. That's when the Interslavian language was born. The king also decided that it would be the main language, but speaking other languages was encouraged also.

Through all history they have been plundered by their neighbours, but they stood strong. During one of the major wars they lost against a communist country (~XIX century), and it took most of their land. For 111 years Łucja was almost a puppet state. But in 1889 an uprising in the capital started, and it grew massive super quick. The enemy was dumbfounded, so the revolution quickly won. After that, the country of the Slavs has regained its lands and full independence.

I have partially mapped an urban area in BG24 - Nowograd Królewski. Note: Scaling in this project has been horrible - I forgot to start off with the helper.

	Dear Kuba743, the mapping you've provided is not enough to warrant a territory, especially the rural mapping. Also, as you have noted yourself, the scaling in Nowograd Królewski is indeed way off. It's good that you have realized that, but that also means that you should work on repairing it. Please rework the urban area, and also expand both bits of mapping before requesting a territory again.
