Forum:Territory application/UL27b -Santîmes
I really don’t know where to start with this, but here is my concept.
Climate - Warm, more Mediterranean style of a climate, but since there would be mountains in the east of the Island, the west would be more rainy and have more precipitation than the east. Topography - more flat, with rolling hills and river valleys to the west, while the east will have mountains. Landscape - the landscape of Santîmes would be rolling hills, with vineyards and farms throughout. The east would have mountains and mountainous towns and villages, no major cities though. There would be 4 major rivers of Santîmes, all of which would have population centers on them. The west would have more farming towns, major cities, and the capital, which is named Santîmes. Culture - Santîmes has a french-arabic style culture, think of Algeria, Morocco, or Tunisia, but on the island of Santîmes, there is more presence of French culture, and less Arabic style culture like in the mainland. Religion - Santîmes (Island) would be Roman Catholic, and minorities of Orthodox, and Islamic peoples are spread throughout the island. Santîmes (Mainland) would be Muslim, with little to no other religions. Language - French is the official language of Santîmes, while Arabic, Russian, and English would be prevalent around the Island and Mainland. Political System - Santîmes is a constitutional Monarchy, mainly ruled by the white French peoples of the Island. There is a senate, which has 60 seats, one for each 54 districts of the Island, and 6 for the capital, Santîmes. The senate can make laws and they get passed if the King likes the law, or thinks it is needed.
Now for the mainland’s geography more of a desert and steppe mixture, only three towns would inhabit the mainland, two on the coast which would serve as ports for ferries to go from the mainland East Uletha, to the Island of Santîmes, and one near the town of Albest. There would be mountains on the coast which would provide more grasslands and forests along the coast, but everything else would be deserts in the south and expansive grasslands to the north.
How would I adapt the East Uletha Concept to my territory? I will make the mainland the more steppe and desert like, like the rest of region 27. I will though, try and have the liberty to make the Island, more greener, and somewhat like the picture for Region 28, on the East Uletha Concept. I will make the cultures of the mainland fit into the Region 27 climates, and will make the Island a fit into a more Region 28 climate.

I really hope I can get this territory, If not, it is okay.
Sincerely, Juan&don
- Hello Juan&don, thank you for your application. Please have a look at OpenGeofiction:Territory_application. Before you can apply for a private territory, we ask you to practice and showcase some significant mapping in blue or beginner territories. You can submit a new application once that requirement is met. When you do so, please create a forum post using the "Add Territory ID and proposed name to begin request"-button in the territory application forum.
