Talk:Main Page/TravelGuide

From OpenGeofiction

Excerpts from the travel guide are intended to feature links to quality mapping in the form of short, in-universe commentary. The areas featured will be of good quality but perhaps not widespread enough for a featured map. Users are welcome to nominate their own work or nominate the work of others with approval of the mapper. In-universe lore should be maximally linkable to the map, have a wiki article for the territory (even if only an infocard), and be no longer than a couple of sentences. Nominations are welcome, and self-nominations are preferred.

  • The Wahanta Zoo is a must-see when visiting Wahanta, Clamash . The world-class zoo is home to many exhibits including the recently opened Arecales Annex, which features flora and fauna of the Arecales Archipelago. --Glauber (talk) 6:57, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
    • I'm going to slightly hold off on this one just so that there aren't two Clamash ones at the same time. I'll put it in the next round. — Alessa (talk) 20:39, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
      • Nomination pulled per user request. — Alessa (talk) 04:30, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
  • See the beauty of the North Solidago Forest Protected Landscape (NSFPL)'s rivers with a network of hiking and walking trails that run parallel to the river and across the forest. The visitor center is the ideal starting point for your expedition. Lemuria (talk) 15:44, 8 September 2023 (UTC
    • This is a good start. I'd like to see a bit more widespread detail and refinement, and then we can move it forward. Happy mapping! — Alessa (talk) 13:48, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
  • Visit the picturesque medieval old town of Šarengrad, BNV flag.png Banuvia featuring the bustling food market at Bansko Namješće and the magnificent All Saints' Cathedral, as well as the ancient Šarengrad Fortress built in the 9th century. Sergjack (talk) 21:45, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
