Image uploads
Hello. I hope you're having a pleasant day. Please make sure you are adding the license information from the dropdown menu before uploading any images to the wiki. Images without an adequate license information will be deleted. Also, please be sure to include a description before uploading. The image File:Firstfirkelempire.jpg, for example, still includes the text from the upload page. You are expected to edit the image to fix this by clicking on the "edit" button at the top of the page; do not upload it again to edit that information. Please ask if you have additional questions. Thank you. — Alessa (talk) 12:09, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you for editing the image. However, the description you put for a license won't work. Did you create the original image of the fortress gate, or did you find it somewhere? If you found it somewhere, please put the source in the description. Also, since the background appears to be based on or copied from the OGF map, the best thing to put for the license of that is {{Cc-ogf-map}}. Thank you! — Alessa (talk) 16:21, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
- Okay yes thank you I am not really used to these things. The image of the castle/village is a brush present in "Procreate", the software I used. I'll try edit the license; Ciaosamuu 11:55, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- No worries. I know it can be challenging. Given the information you've provided, I was able to update the image page with the correct information. Thank you! — Alessa (talk) 15:36, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- Hello. Following up again. You've been uploading a lot of images without any information provided in them. You'll notice on the upload form that there is a box that says "You must include categories for your image and any sources that unoriginal content is from…". You must replace the text in this box with source information, categories, etc. before uploading the image. So far, a few gracious users have been doing cleanup on your uploads. It is important to follow the image policy when you do uploads. Thanks. — Alessa (talk) 13:41, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- Bruh, I'm sorry i'm not used to these thing. I guess i'll just start take things from wikipedia. U can just delete that one, thank you and sorry :I Ciaosamuu (talk) 14:02, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- I can delete it; that's fine. But, if you have the information, please edit the image page and add it. That's the easy way to keep the image for now. In the future, when you upload all you have to do is follow the instructions listed in the summary box. As another note, many people (myself included) find it incredibly rude to have "bruh" said to them. — Alessa (talk) 14:49, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
