Forum:Tarephia Cooperation Council/institutions in Aldevira
I was wondering if I could get the approval to open the following TCC insitutions in Aldevira, which I've just added to the TCC
TCC Health and Safety Institute Aldevira is a developed country (albeit a new one) and the government want the small island chain to be at the forefront of medical research. The HSI concerns itself with the research of terminal illnesses, and will also have a childrens wing. It would be based in the city of Zavor, the country's largest city.
Tarephian Police Force Headquarters Aldevira has resembled a police state since the '40s and although reforms have been made, the country is still stuck in its militant past which is a remnant from the rule of dictator Sebastian Seferi. The country has a well trained police force that can often resemble an army. Additionally, mandatory conscription is still around in the neutral country which can often lead into a law enforcement career. For this reason, I think Aldevira would have the resources to host this institute. The TPF would resemble Europol and assist national police forces by conducting investigations, sharing files and resources and would hopefully control a number of prisons across the continent if members decide to build them. A very small and secretive foreign intelligence branch would also exist, primarily for anti-terrorism measures. It would be based just outside of Capia, a small city in the northern part of the largest island (not on the map yet, but planned to be finished before december)
Also, if there are any problems in how I added Aldevira to the wiki page, please let me know. I do not yet have permission to create https://wiki.opengeofiction.net/index.php/Template:Aldevira which is one problem I know of.
- It's good to see your interest in contributing to the Tarephia Cooperation Council. I think it's a bit too early to consider these proposals until there's more detail on the map (especially in the cities) for us to understand how these cities and Aldevira will fit into the wider region and the continent as a whole. You should know that Mauretia across the sea is a major contributor to health research, so I can see the potential for a strong health research network in the region if other mappers contribute to building up that sort of presence.
