An overview of climate, topography and landscape of the country. It is advised to also create a sketch, you can add a link to this (hosted on imgur or similar) |
To be consistent, much of the topography near the borders of TA109c will be that of the neighbors’.
Much of the central and east thirds of the country will have quite flat terrain to low, smaller rolling hills that are covered by dense rainforest, similar to that of Brazil. The provinces of Les Hauterres and Toloupaxacua, as well as a majority of Gualie and Pays du Prosseau are covered by low, mountainous, dense jungles, which are more similar to the Amazon rainforest or forests similar to that in Venezuela and Columbia. Closer to the southern coast is very flat land, which is ideal for agriculture. Near the mouths of the rivers is where the land is the flattest, due to the erosion of the medium-hard soil being slow. In the modern era, deforestation opened up much of the land, which is now used for agriculture. The southern coastline and river corridors are where most of the agricultural regions of the territory are, similar to the coastline of Suriname and the Brazilian state of Rondonia.
The climates of the territory are entirely tropical. The mountainous and rural regions of the territory are classified as Af or Am on the Koppen Classification. The region surrounding the city of Fourchières and the shoreline of Grand Puiwauxdre is between Af and Aw (Monsoon-Savannah), due to the region being surrounded by mountains (not sure about Paroy),, which would inhibit rainfall.

A brief description of the territory demographics, economic development, land occupation, infrastructure and mapping style |
The infrastructure and administrative regions follow various geographic, topographic, and demographic boundaries.
A majority of the highways are maintained by provincial/departmental governments, with motorways/other major highways being maintained by the federal government. Many of the cities that lie on the southern coastline, primarily Fourchières, serve as large port cities that have high industrial influence and are economically more advanced than that of rural regions. During Franquese colonization, these were the first cities to be established. Because many of the cities lie on the southern coast, a majority of the highways run adjacent to the shoreline, providing an efficient travel/transportation corridor to connect these cities. This corridor is where the longest of the motorways, A1, runs, with the second longest motorway being A3. Because of the extensive Franquese occupation, many train routes were established before the construction of highways. While they’re not drawn on the map I provided, I plan to establish an extensive network of railways that connect the cities.
The mapping in Nayina is currently inspired by both mapping in France, several South American cities, and my own interpretation of these styles of mapping.
There is a significant economic divide in the country. Many of the densely populated cities/regions are more economically advanced due to their placement. Cities such as Côte du Corail, Fourchières, and La Soupouie are economically closer to several cities in France, or Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. As for the rural regions of the country, they do not have as much opportunity for economic cooperation with the rest of the country, thus they lag behind the aforementioned regions. They are closer to some smaller cities and several rural regions in Brazil, (e.g. Recife, Manaus, State of Rondonia, etc.).

A brief description of the intended culture and language |
This history was discussed in collaboration with other users in the region.
Before the colonization era in Tarephia, Nayina was inhabited by various indigenous peoples. Tribes such as Saxaway, Buirawui, Guala, and Powaliu peoples had the most influence and power in the region. These tribes were very similar in many aspects, and they have established a diverse network of trading routes. These tribes had very similar languages that arose from communications between tribes during trading. The largest trading outpost was centered on what is now Tuixuwé, where many of the dominant tribes would go to trade.
The Franuqese began colonization in the 1300s, first landing in on a large river delta. They named this site Fourchières, named after the head of the exploration, Henry Fourchière. The settlement quickly took off, attracting more people to inhabit the newly established settlements. The Franuqese controlled much of the territory during this time period.
In the 1600s, Nayina gained independence, (how it gained independence, I’m still figuring out). Nayina and its western neighbor, Araguan form a close alliance.
Araguan is invaded by the Castellanese later in the 1600s and early 1700s, where Castellan begins reducing the Franquese populations via events of genocide. The Araguan Revolutionary War begins, where bands of revolutionary parties begin to fight back against the Castellanese. Eventually, the Castellanese forces pushed into Nayinese territory to continue their operations. Nayina, along with Araguan revolution parties, fought against the Castellanese, where they later declared defeat and evacuated Araguan territory. The Araguan-Nayina Confederation is formed. Later in the 1800s, the confederation is dissolved (me and User:jl06 are still discussing history behind the confederation). Nayina and Araguan remain independent until present day.

Discussion for clarification & decision |
Hi - at the time, Nayinie was requested as a second territory; since then you've also successfully applied for a third territory. While I think your work in Nayinie is quite good - since these other two territories are quite large, and appear to require a fair amount of work at this time, I'd suggest you reapply for this when you've reached a larger degree of completion in the current territory of Nayinie, or either of your other territories.
