This wiki server is in the process of being upgraded. Both the operating system and the MediaWiki software are being updated to the latest "LTS" (long-term support) releases. This is an essential task, which helps with on-going maintenance, performance and system security.
The upgraded is being phased:
- Utility pages will stop being updated (territory map, new users, etc), as they are moved across to the new versions and tested
- This means that the content of OpenGeofiction:Territories, Help:New user patrol, Index:Time zones, Index:Driving side, Index:Intergovernmental organizations, Index:Mains electricity, Index:Rail transport, Index:World economics, Index:International business listing, and various
Admin:pages will not update - However, the wiki server can otherwise be used as normal
- Also, the coastline maintenance page will update as normal
- This means that the content of OpenGeofiction:Territories, Help:New user patrol, Index:Time zones, Index:Driving side, Index:Intergovernmental organizations, Index:Mains electricity, Index:Rail transport, Index:World economics, Index:International business listing, and various
- Server will go into read-only mode, as a final pre-update backup is made
- The wiki server will be unavailable, as it is being updated, configured and restored
- The new wiki server will be online
