Talk:Main Page/FeaturedMap

From OpenGeofiction

The featured map is a showcase of the best mapping on OpenGeofiction. It highlights high-quality, detailed mapping over a wide portion of the map. Not all featured maps must include micromapping, as large-scale natural mapping, or other possibilities are also welcome. The areas featured will be of outstanding quality. Users are welcome to nominate their own work or nominate the work of others with approval of the mapper. Featured maps should have a wiki article for the territory (even if only an infocard). Nominations are welcome, including self-nominations.

Is there a template for nominations? I have in mind a nomination--Zhenkang (talk) 05:52, 29 October 2022 (UTC)

Nothing specific. Just provide the link to the area, and I'll take a look at it. I'll tinker with making it fit on the page by messing with the zoom and size. No one has to worry about that. Thanks! — Alessa (talk) 15:31, 15 November 2022 (UTC)

  11. Gaoyang City, mainly by Masyas. Although it is not too micromapping now, but I think it is a relative large-scale city that could be on the main page as a whole area.--NM$l (talk) 08:28, 13 October 2024 (UTC)
